Per creare file PDF oggi non è più indispensabile acquistare costosi software come i prodotti Adobe, infatti possiamo creare file PDF da qualsiasi applicazione che permette l’output tramite stampa; come? Grazie a programmi gratuiti come DoPdf.
DoPdf è un programma gratuito che permette di ottenere file PDF da applicazione quali word, excel, paint e tantissimi altri programmi, l’unico requisito è che l’applicazione che utilizziamo per la creazione, permetta di stampare il documento.
Infatti DoPdf installa una stampante virtuale; i documenti che inviamo in stampa vengono convertiti in PDF.

* Fix: Corrected bug in converting Norwegian text containing numbers (for Norwegian numbers the thousand divider is a blank space, so the numbers were not correctly converted – bug in dlgPaper).
* Fix: On Vista machines that have UAC enabled, printing from IE7 (in protected mode) returned a "Permission denied" error when trying to save the PDF file locally. Upon installation doPDF now sets permission to write to local files.
* Update: Do not check open file when using doPDF on Vista and printing from IE
